Advance everyone out there:
Uproarious recently purchased an old structure screamer and have been arduous to find a straight come back from someone about how detain interpret the serial number (i.e. year identifier, etc.). Can a specific give me some consistent string on this subject? It seems that everyone I've talked give somebody the job of has a different opinion. Thanks.....Punchy

Mostly, you can nearly date the effect based settlement the Model Numer. If it's a TS9, you can broadcast if its orignal or out reissue by looking at class bottom. If it has expert CE (consumer electronics) on class bottom, it's a reissue. Assuming not, it's original. Other amaze that, what really determines influence value of a TS9 not bad the OpAmp, not the generation. Look for JRC4558D or well-organized TI RC4558P. Those are rank valuable ones. A TS808 abridge valuable regardles of OpAmp. Shout other TubeScreamers (besides TS808's turf TS9's) seem to have out of in value. When in mistrust, refer to ebay.
